technicly, i suppose there was a law broken, but the issue comes down to whether a traffic stop is a private or public event. there could not be a more public event. when you re getting stopped, you re being pulled over by public servant on a public roadway that will be tried in a public courthouse. the only thing that could make it more public is a bull horn and a statement there nothing private about the event. therefore, this law technically does not apply. are you going to disdis sput that? yes. because we re talking about a wiretap law specifically in married. what is it about law. the law is the law. the law is stupid perhaps, but it says if any person is being tape record and they don t agree to be tape recorded it s an illegal wiretap. that s the law in 12 states including maryland. but he did break the law. the law is stupid. i m amazed that he got arrested in his case, too.
