The next Funko Pop! figure has some Latin spice!
The Tapatio Man, which is 3¾ inches tall, will look just like the one on the bottle, with his light brown sombrero, bright yellow jacket and red tie. He even comes holding a tiny bottle of Tapatio hot sauce.
Matt Lattier, who works in Licensing at Funko, said in an email the Tapatio figure falls in line with the Ad icons the company has created over the years. Funko has a ton of respect for the iconic brands and brand icons that we’ve all grown to love. Tapatio is a staple in so many homes, mine included, and the Tapatio Man is such a recognizable figure on their iconic bottle and packaging, he said.
