Belarus and Uzbekistan have developed fruitful cooperation in absolutely all areas, Chair of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalya Kochanova told journalists, BelTA has learned.
The head of state noted that the visit is taking place in the year when Belarus and Uzbekistan mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations. “A lot has been done, but there is room for improvement in this difficult time, when we are at a turning point in international relations,” the president said describing the level of bilateral cooperation.
The experience of cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan should become an example for many countries, Chairwoman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva said as she met with Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova in Minsk on 5 September.
