Telecompaper Vodacom Tanzania launches free educational website Monday 10 May 2021 | 11:47 CET | News Vodacom Tanzania has launched an E-Fahamu website which is aimed at offering teachers and students to get textbooks and supplementary books through online for free.Vodacom in partnership with the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE), has also installed textbooks and syllabus which has been approved TIE to the E-Fahamu website, whereby over 80 textbooks, 1,020 supplementary books and eighteen cartoons have been so far be published. 2021-03-09 15:55:15 GMT2021-03-09 23:55:15(Beijing Time) Xinhua English DAR ES SALAAM, March 9 (Xinhua) Tanzania s anti-narcotics police unit on Tuesday announced the seizure of 31 kilograms of heroin and the arrest of four suspects in connection with the drugs. Hassan Kabeleke, head of the anti-narcotics police unit, said one of the suspects is a 24-year-old student with the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy based in the commercial capital Dar es Salaam. He said the heroin was seized in Mbezi Beach in the suburbs of the commercial capital after police acted on intelligence report from the general public. Kabeleke told a press conference that the four suspects were arrested at Mbezi Beach and Kijitonyama areas.
