MOORE, Okla. -
On February 3, 2020 the community of Moore was turned upside down when an alleged drunk driver plowed through a group of cross-country runners. The truck that hit the students was going 80 mph, police said.
“I mean in a very real sense a part of us is gone,” said Michael Freeman, the father of Rachel Freeman. “So, it has been adapting to that change.”
When the truck hit the runners it killed three, Rachel Freeman, Kolby Crum and Yuridia Martinez. Four others were also injured in the incident.
“God had other plans for him,” said Tansey Hellbusch, the mother of Kolby Crum.
