The trio behind Magnetic South Brewery hope to open its doors this September, a few months later than the original plan to open this July.
The setback is nothing to Paul Cain, Adam “Cuzzin” Willier and Tanner Coombs, the owners of Anderson’s soon-to-be largest brewery. They originally had plans to open at a location in Clemson, but the pandemic led to them choosing the old S&P Grocery building (most recently a CarQuest Auto Parts) in downtown Anderson.
Located on Main Street across from Kimbrell’s Furniture, the 10,000-square-foot building will be Anderson’s third brewery and part of a larger development the city has planned. Complications from COVID-19 and extensive planning slowed the process down a bit, but progress has been made.
