PD: 2 dead, 1 hurt after violent altercation in Meriden apartment

MERIDEN Two people were killed and another injured after a “violent altercation” in a city apartment early Friday morning, according to police.
Police were dispatched around 12:45 a.m. for an “active and violent altercation” in a Lincoln Street apartment. Arriving officers found a 56-year-old man on the front porch suffering from stab wounds, police said.
Officers were told a woman inside the apartment later identified as 41-year-old Tania Roman also had injuries, police said.
Inside, police said officers found Roman with stab wounds and a second man, who police said appeared to be dead.
