Christmas in Black Christmas in Black is a series of live holiday performances woven together through the lens of the African American perspective. The show features the amazing local talents of DevSoul Band, Ren Hall, Tanesha Payne, Gianna Johnson, and San Antonio Poet Laureate Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson. The company’s founder and DevSoul Lead Vocalist, Devon Mathews, is also the producer and director of the show. “We are creating a platform for Black performance art to have year-round representation in our community. It is the gift of inclusion this holiday season.”
