Cameron Shearer says he is grateful toward the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, acknowledging the relationships and key opportunities it provided that paved his path to success.

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff was one of five historically Black colleges and universities participating in the second annual Leadership Exchange Program sponsored by Bristol Myers Squibb in May.
Collier has worked for the district for more than 23 years, and has served as interim superintendent since Mark Bedell resigned last summer. She's recently led efforts around Blueprint 2023, the district's long-term strategic plan that includes controversial school closures.
“Dr. Collier has proven both in our interviews, and in her role as interim superintendent, her exceptional leadership, integrity and pride in our school district,” a board member said.
