There was such a concern that it would be a with a world war like world war ii, that we recalled people to service. We wanted to be sure that we had people in place to be part of this war and many of them when were women as well for the first time. It didnt turn out that we needed that many, but most of the women who served in korea on they ground where army nurses. It was a horrendous situation. They would barely get established and set up a hospital and they would have to move. We have one diary from a woman who talked about setting up a hospital in an abandoned school. It was sturdy and hot, but they needed to close the windows ruts called up the outside of the building. Those were the conditions under which these women served. They are long hours of duty for all of us, we work for 18 to 24 hours, 36 hours around the clock. This is the w

First, i thinkshould be clear that we believe the systems are safe. One of the safest mode of travel we have available to us in this day and age. Real also believe very strongly there are steps that need to be taken in order to address the safety, not just of the general public, but the employees who work for these diseases. There is no question that when youre dealing with an aging infrastructure and the needs that are required to maintain that infrastructure, employees will be working in Hazardous Conditions that can make for an unsafe situation, but there are steps that the Transit Agency has taken. I know from my own experience we focus closely on making sure that our operators have appropriate training, tools, protocols and place to map the safety of these employees. But the reality is, as long as it will take to fix this problem will require more workers to work environments where it could be a more dangerous situation that if it were invested in good repair. Because the cost of Higher Education has gone up over the last many years and now we have to figure out as a country, and as individual institutions how to make this affordable and accessible to young people, because education is transformational. Transformative experiences make a whole individual. Thats for citizens of every country, especially in a democratic environment. So how are you doing that then . How are you addressing this challenge of affordability and access . The university of illinois at urbana, champagne, tuition for instate is over 15,000, out of state is over 30,000, and room and board can come in at nearly 11,000. Yes, indeed. We are over the last many years, we are increased our effort in terms of Financial Aid. We have given over 70 million in Financial Aid.
