On Wednesday, Mounties said a charge has been laid in the shooting. “A 62-year-old male from Calgary, who was allegedly also out hunting, was taken into custody at the scene and is facing a charge of careless use of a firearm,” said a news release from Foothills County RCMP. The two men were not hunting companions, said RCMP Cpl. Tammy Keibel. “It was an unintended incident,” she said.
