Benefis Health System alerted employees that beginning May 1, they will be required to get a COVID-19 vaccine, with some exemptions. The announcement has sparked controversy and consistent protests in Great Falls.   As of April 23, about 64% of Benefis employees had received a COVID-19 vaccine. Whitney Bania, senior communications specialist at Benefis, wrote in an email to the Tribune: Benefis is a leader in healthcare, and we are responsible for doing our absolute best to protect our patients who turn to us in the most vulnerable times.
