Sixteen girls field hockey teams from Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Ohio are competing against one another this weekend at the Kentucky Expo Center. At the end of it, all eight teams will advance to a national tournament.

CINCINNATI â One local organization is working to show their support to frontline workers by making sure that their children have some new sneakers.
Every year, Bigger Than Sneakers hosts the Cincinnati Sneakerball to support children in the Tri-State. Tammie Scott, the co-founder of Bigger Than Sneakers who also owns the Downtown wine and jazz bar Nostalgia, saw how hard frontline workers were impacted by the pandemic and decided to try and help their families.
