LEWISTON A new program for women wanting to overcome addiction is available in Lewiston and Auburn.
Women for Sobriety (WFS), a nonprofit organization, has been empowering women to take charge of their lives since 1975. WFS offers a unique self-help approach to recovery, the New Life Program, which was specifically designed to address the needs or women. WFS has certified facilitators leading mutual support groups online and in person, as well as phone volunteers available for one-on-one support.
Rosanna Boyce facilitates a group for residents at Journey House in Auburn at 5:30 p.m. Sundays. Others may join by Zoom by contacting Boyce for location and a link at [email protected].
