A northshore judge on Tuesday signed a temporary restraining order forbidding the St. Tammany Parish Coroner to cut a program that provides specialized care to victims of sexual violence.
A judge has signed a temporary restraining order stopping St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Christopher Tape from cutting the parish's sexual assault exam program, according to the STAR, Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response Center.
The St. Tammany coroner announced Thursday that he would reconsider his elimination of a sexual assault nurse examiner program following a lawsuit that was filed against him.
