Chennai: In yet another incident of sexual assault, a minor girl was allegedly raped and impregnated by a 17-year-old boy in Tamil Nadu. Police took the accused into custody on Friday, following a complaint by the girl’s parents.
According to the police, the accused teenager and the minor girl are residents of the same neighbourhood. The boy is a school dropout and used to work as a collie. During the pandemic-induced lockdown, he assisted the girl’s family. The two developed a bonded and started meeting outside their houses, according to a report by
