Anyone who knows Heard will think the name of her new café, Butteriffic Bakery & Café, could not be any more perfect.
Butteriffic Bakery & Café opens March 6 at 488 S. Second St. in the spot that was most recently Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies Downtown location.
Heard describes her new café as a place built on “butteriffic love.”
She has been around the bakery business for two decades. Her parents are the founders of Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies. Heard, along with her sister, have worked in the family business for years.
