Stavon Moore, 29, was acquitted of murder and attempted murder, while Tyja Braswell, 22, pleaded her murder charge down to a gun possession conviction with no jail time. Both fired guns in the shootout that killed a 64-year-old bystander.
Stavon Moore did not dispute that he shot and killed an innocent bystander during the shooting, but the defense relied on video showing the woman he was arguing with reaching for her gun before Moore began to fire.
Tamia Foster, 23, accepted a three-year prison term with a chance to avoid incarceration altogether, and will not be required to testify against her co-defendants.
