このため、法務省は、罪を犯した若者の社会復帰を促進するため、就労支援や刑事政策に詳しい有識者らによる作業部会を設置し、18歳と19歳の資格制限の緩和に向けた検討を始めることになりました。
法務省によりますと、前科によって制限される資格は1000を超えるとしていて、作業部会では、少年院などで若者が希望する仕事を調査し、対象となる資格を絞り込んだうえで、法改正も含めた具体的な制限の在り方を検討していくことにしています。
