JOHOR BARU: Police here recorded their biggest drug haul so far, seizing more than RM201mil worth of drugs following raids at three different locations in Mount Austin and Taman Setia Indah.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said two local suspects aged between 34 and 38 were also arrested
“The raids on Thursday (Jan 14) and Friday (Jan 15) were part of a follow-up investigation following a drug bust between Jan 9 and 10 which led to the arrest of 15 suspects.
“Four of the 15 suspects informed the police about the locations where they stored the drugs, which led us to one factory and two houses, which the syndicate had been renting since 2018 to carry out its drug activities, ” he added.
