SUNGAI SIPUT: A total of RM20mil has been allocated to local authorities to ensure drains in cities are maintained properly to prevent flash floods ahead of the monsoon season, says Nga Kor Ming.
SUNGAI SIPUT, Oct 30 The Ministry of Local Government Development (KPKT) said today it has allocated RM20 million for 155 local councils nationwide to do the maintenance work.
KUALA Kangsar Municipal Council (MPKK) has received RM1.65mil for seven flood mitigation projects in Sungai Siput including RM500,000 to maintain reservoirs.
