BUTTERWORTH (Bernama): A lorry driver pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here on Friday (Oct 22) to charges of committing unnatural sex, raping and robbing a Myanmar woman.
BUTTERWORTH: Four men, believed to be from Johor, were arrested for allegedly breaking into a frozen meat storage centre in Taman Inderawasih and stealing the goods inside.
All four, aged between 27 and 37, told the police they had chosen to commit the act up north to avoid detection and arrest in the south, where their previous criminal records originated.
Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Shafee Abd Samad said they received a report on April 4 about a frozen food store being broken into.
“The complainant said when he arrived at the store at around 6.30am that day, he found the main door of the frozen meat storage open and the inside emptied. He then lodged a report, ” he said in a statement on Thursday (April 15).
