4.4 quake 11 May 12:36 am (GMT +10)
An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred after midnight on Tuesday 11 May 2021 at 12:36 am local time near Dededo Village, Dededo, Guam, as reported by the United States Geological Survey.
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at an intermediate to considerable depth of 180.9 km. The strength of the earthquake may have been tempered by its relative great depth below the surface, which makes it feel weaker in absolute terms. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
User reports estimate the perceived ground shaking intensity according to the MMI (Modified Mercalli Intensity) scale.

20th floor Dusit Thani Hotel, Tumon, Guam / Light shaking (MMI IV) :
Currently quarantine in Dusit Thani Hotel on the 20th floor and both I and my cousin were having a conversation. She was standing and I was sitting on a sofa and felt the room shake and watched the chandelier above sway back and forth. It felt like it lasted about 10-15 seconds. No damages but our phone line was not working. You could feel the vibration and it was alarming to know it was an earthquake and thought it was about a 4.5 to 5 magnitude. | 4 users found this interesting.
