Run Talk Run (RTR) is a friendly, safe and open space to talk about the good days, bad days and everything in-between. Part of a global initiative, Run Talk Run aims to make both physical activity and mental health support less intimidating and more accessible. There are so many reasons why running makes it easier to open up. When you run with a community, you are all facing forwards, rather than looking at each other. That often makes it easier to talk about the difficult things on our minds and allows us to speak without feeling judged by those with us. RTR Malton is led by Sally, setting off at 7:00pm every Monday evening from St Nicholas Street Car Park (YO17 9AQ). We follow a 5km route around the town at a very casual pace. We run/walk depending on how we’re feeling and the conversations we are having. The group is open to ANYONE and no one should feel intimidated to come along. Sally created the Malton arm of Run Talk Run having discovered a group through running friends in

A SUPPORT group whose focus is ‘Run Talk Run’ has been set up in Omagh, where participants are encouraged to speak to others in order to help with mental health issues.
It meets every Monday at the Omagh Leisure Complex before completing a 5k run, but with no focus on times and running at the pace of the slowest runner.
The group’s founder, Alex McKinley, said the initiative had first been set up in England and allows people a more comfortable environment to talk about issues they may be dealing with in their life.
Hastings men complete 50km London run to support the NHS
Local runners Matt Warne and Craig Firth took part in the Ultra X and Run Talk Run 50km Rainbow Run on April 24 to support the NHS.
Friday, 7th May 2021, 9:04 am
The run across London started at Kew Bridge and finished in Regents Park. The pair finished in 5.48.
The event was hosted by Ultra X and Run Talk Run with £20 of the £35 entry fee being donated to NHS Charities Together.
For Matt and Craig it was their first attempt at an Ultramarathon and they chose this one due to Matt’s involvement in Run Talk Run and because it was raising money for the NHS.
