In the book, Butler explores family, friendship, faith and our longing for community a longing that can have terrible consequences. Little Faith is a novel inspired by real-life tragedy from the death of a child in Wisconsin that prompted Butler to question honesty, and empathy, all while painting a portrait of a Midwestern community and family.
