The donation was represented by Talib Afifa, a member of the Board of Directors, falling within the bank’s CSR program and longstanding commitment to persons of special needs. The Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs is a non-profit organization that aims at the social, mental, academic, and healthy rehabilitation of people with special needs that is commensurate with the Islamic principles, traditions, customs, and peculiarities of the Qatari society. Moreover, it provides an equal manner of care to all residents of the State of Qatar irrespective of one’s financial level.

Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs holds awareness lecture on COVID-19

 11 Jan 2021 - 9:36 The Peninsula Doha: The Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs (QSRSN), in cooperation with the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), organised a psychological awareness lecture entitled ‘Mental health for people with special needs and their families in light of the COVID-19 crisis’. Hajar Al Omari, a psychologist in the Psychological Support Clinic at Al Wajba Health Center delivered the lecture virtually through Microsoft-Teams.  The lecture dealt with several aspects related to mental health, pressures and psychological problems that are expected to occur for people with disabilities and their families during the COVID-19 crisis, especially with the social distancing and isolation imposed on different societies.

QSRSN celebrates Qatar National Day

QSRSN celebrates Qatar National Day  22 Dec 2020 - 7:41 The Peninsula Doha: Members of the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs (QSRSN) has celebrated the Qatar National Day expressing their love for Qatar. They have also renewed the pledge and loyalty to the State of Qatar and Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The National Day celebrations were organised at the QSRSN’s centres in accordance with the health and precautionary requirements to combat coronavirus. Also gifts were presented to people with disabilities, and the celebrations varied between national anthems and popular heritage songs presented by members of the society’s centres.
