Animator, illustrator, and teacher Al Bohl uses paper cut-out silhouette animation, pioneered a century ago by German filmmaker Lotte Reiniger, to tell the timeless – and timely - story of a stranger who helps a man laying beaten and bleeding on the side of the road.
On Friday, May 12, there will be a reception for the student art exhibit. The presentation will present artworks by the youth of The Talented Arts Program of St. Landry Parish. The exhibit will include original paintings, sculptures, and more by approximately 65 students. The public is welcome.
