One of my favorite properties of old is the
Slam Dunk manga and anime and it looks like we might be able to reconnect with that property going into a new decade. Original creator Takehiki Inoue posted to his Twitter account, as you can see below, that the manga is inspiring a new film. While Inoue’s tweet doesn’t say too much of what type of project it is, the film site does list Toei Animation as involved which, with the popularity of basketball anime this past decade, would make sense to do it as.
