What the Justice Secretary is going to announce in the next few minutes, it has been trailed overnight, is that people who kill their partners will lose their parental rights on arrest. The idea being that too often when there is a situation of Domestic Violence or domestic killing that you still have access to children despite the pain and suffering that can cause. That is something the justice suffering that can cause. That is something theJustice Secretary has promised to look at for a while and will announce further moves on over the next 20 minutes. He has also got an announcement coming on strengthening whole Life Sentences to mean that people going through the justice process at the moment who are sentenced to whole Life Sentences will face tougher punishments already being introduced by the government.
