Karim Benzema stole the show once again while Luka Modric and Rodrygo Goes shone as well as Real Madrid beat Eibar 3-1 in La Liga on Sunday.
It just took six minutes for Real Madrid to break the deadlock as Karim Benzema latched onto a lofted through ball by Rodrygo Goes to find the back of the net. Seven minutes later,
Los Blancos were 2-0 up with Benzema turning provided for Luka Modric, who fired the ball into the roof of the net from inside the box.
Madrid started the contest with great intensity and appeared to be cruising to victory when they were 2-0 up by the 13th minute.
Benzema brought down Rodrygo s clever scooped pass over the defence and was left with a routine finish to open the scoring, before turning provider when he robbed Kevin Rodrigues in the Eibar box and cut back for Modric to sweep home.
But shortly after Benzema spurned a chance to make it 3-0, Eibar pulled one back – Garcia curling an unstoppable strike into the top-right corner from 25 yards.
Eibar should have been level 10 minutes into the second half, but Takashi Inui dragged a shot hopelessly wide instead of squaring to Yoshinori Muto after pouncing on a wayward Ferland Mendy pass.

Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema kept up his impressive run of form by scoring and providing two assists in a 3-1 win away to Eibar on Sunday, taking the champions level on points with La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid.
The French forward got Real off to a flying start by scoring in the sixth minute, trapping a chipped pass from Rodrygo with his right foot and calmly finishing into the net with his left for a fifth goal in his last four matches in all competitions.
