今年亞洲唯一、台灣首屆Red Bull飛行日18日在台中港三井OUTLET登場，是號稱地表最熱血、最狂的創意飛行器大賽，主辦單位在台中市民廣場布置創意飛行日造景，呈現航道意象，部分行人穿越號誌、交通標誌也展現「台中酷運動，等你來挑戰」、「飛行日，台中港降肉」、「預備最美姿勢」等多種創意設計，相當吸睛。民眾近日漫步台中市民廣場，發現許多裝置藝術，得知Red Bull飛行日準備起飛。台中市運動局長李昱叡說，熱情邀請國人一同見證這項國際級盛事，讓世界看見台灣、感受台中推廣多元運動的魅力，作為地主，消防局也組隊參加此次賽事；賽事將由633組報名隊伍中選出最終43組進入決賽，進行創意與飛行距離對決，期盼讓全國民眾體驗台中酷運動活力與熱情，打造獨一無二的飛行體驗，近距離接觸最潮賽事。
