Taiwan on Tuesday (March 26) conducted air defence tests amid continued cross-strait "intrusions" by the Chinese forces. Taipei showed its military readiness with surface-to-air missiles and joint exercises with its air, land, and naval forces.
The Taiwan Air Force Command confirmed an early morning training exercise lasting from 5 am to 7 am local time. It used anti-aircraft artillery systems and US-made Patriot missiles.

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence (MND) has said that it has detected 10 Chinese military aircraft and five naval ships around Taiwan in the past 24 hours, till 6 am (local time) on Saturday, Taiwan News reported.
