李明贤26日在脸书发文追忆，2020“大选”投票前一晚和唐慧琳一起上中天节目，“看着她手上挂着医院住院手条，我连忙追问，一旁慧琳居然不经意说自己是从从医院偷溜出来的。”录影广告空档，主治医生看到唐慧琳上电视直播还打来骂人，要她赶快回医院，“那一刻，我们才知道慧琳生重病，而且抱病也要替国民党发声讲话。”
对于唐慧琳离世，新北市长侯友宜提到，生病期间曾和唐慧琳通过几次电话，也探望过她，为她加油打气，知道她很乐观、积极的与病魔奋战，期待她早日康复，一起回来为市民朋友们打拼，“虽然结果让人遗憾，但慧琳现在不痛了。一路好走。友宜会永远记得你侠气的身影。”
