Taipei, Jan. 16 (CNA) The Taipei Film Festival 2021 began accepting submissions Friday for its Taipei Film Awards and International New Talent Competition, the annual event s organizer said.
The International New Talent Competition is open to the debut or second features of filmmakers around the world, while the Taipei Film Awards focus on works directed by Taiwanese nationals or residents and qualify as domestically made under the rules set by the Ministry of Culture, according to the Taipei Culture Foundation.
