CGSS and Uzbekistan’s ISRS hold online meeting

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: An online meeting was held on Tuesday between the Institute of Strategic and Regional Studies (ISRS) under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent and the Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad.
During the meeting, the importance of the upcoming International Conference on Central and South Asia Regional Connectivity: Challenges and opportunities was discussed.
The meeting was hosted by the First Deputy Director of the ISRS under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akromjon Nematov.
Akromjon Nematov elaborated the significance of the upcoming conference that is to be attended by Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoye, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani and other important regional leaders.
Article Writing Competition ‘Exploring Egypt: Past, Present & Future’ Organized

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Certificate Distribution Ceremony of the Article Writing Competition “Exploring Egypt: Past, Present & Future” was held at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Islamabad on February 2.
The Competition was jointly organized by the Egyptian Embassy in Islamabad and the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) to enhance bilateral ties and cooperation between Egypt and Pakistan, and to acquaint students with knowledge of the socio-cultural and economic dimensions of the two Countries.
The Ceremony was commenced with the welcome remarks by the Executive Director CGSS Khalid Taimur Akram, mentioning that this competition proved to be a milestone in establishing people to people contact between Egypt and Pakistan.
