疫情衝擊下，除了大型餐飲業受創嚴重，許多騎樓攤商生意也大受影響，中市市議員陳文政表示，近期台中市發生部分商圈騎樓攤商，遭人連續檢舉佔用騎樓，而騎樓停機車只要保留通道就不罰，但擺攤做生意有留通道卻仍遭取締，執法標準不明，而今年高雄已有騎樓罰單經行政訴訟後改判免罰的判例，呼籲市府應明定相關規範，兼顧行人權益與銅板經濟。警察局表示，市府104年公告機車、腳踏車能停放於寬度達3公尺以上的騎樓；另為加強攤販管理，市府於106年6月21日訂頒實施「臺中市攤販集中區設置管理自治條例」，凡在道路範圍內，既有存在超過45攤以上的大規模攤集區，及道路範圍外屬公共設施保留地、商業區等用地等，均可依法申請設置攤販集中區。若未規定，警察局除責令行為人即時停止並消除障礙外，可處行為人或其雇主1200元至2400�
