IOWA - The state is expanding COVID-19 Vaccinations to people 64 and younger with underlying conditions starting Monday.
But a number of Iowa county health departments are frustrated with the state giving them short notice on the changes with vaccinations.
KCRG-TV reports Buchanan County is one of them. A week or two would have been better, said Buchanan County Health Director Tai Burkhart.
The state gave notice of the next tier for vaccines late Thursday.
Buchanan County is planning to rollout the doses for the 64 and under tier, not Monday, but the following week.
Polk County is also delaying its rollout.
