Chantalle Aubertin is the new press secretary for Justice Minister David Lametti, vacating her previous position as press secretary to Infrastructure Minister Catherine McKenna. Aubertin previously worked as communications and issues adviser to McKenna from November 2019 to January 2020, and was also a ministerial aide to the minister in 2018 to 2019 while McKenna was minister of Environment and Climate Change.
Aubertin is also currently pursuing a master of social work from Wilfrid Laurier University.

In a Twitter post on May 29, Aubertin said that under McKenna she had worked for a “fearless, determined, and resilient leader.”
McKenna returned the warm sentiments in a tweet on the same day, declaring that Aubertin “worked hard day in and day out, always with a smile and with kindness, to make sure we delivered.”
