Rochester library, city create time capsule of 2020

ROCHESTER – 2050 sounds very far away: who knows what life will be like then? One thing we hope is that whoever opens the Rochester Public Library’s Time Capsule will get a good idea of the current times and the year 2020!
RPL Time Capsule
The Rochester Public Library recently collaborated with other city departments to assemble a 2020 time capsule. Although ready to put 2020 behind us, we thought that it would be interesting to preserve some of the unique things we experienced, both personally and professionally.
The library included artwork done by our some of our librarians, award winning book lists, news articles that chronicle the turbulent election, social unrest and writings that chronicle the work environment.
