One play didn t exactly decide the final outcome for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff during its 31-7 loss to Alcorn State last week, but there was a sequence that took place in the second quarter that pretty much summed up what the Golden Lions have dealt with all year.
The Southwestern Athletic Conference named University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff running back Kayvon Britten its Offensive Player of the Week a day after he set a career high in rushing yards for the second time this season.
No lead was safe until the end of the game, but the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff won a mad dash to the finish in Saturday’s season opener against Lane College.
