Chevy says the hybrid, AWD C8 Corvette E-Ray will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, making it the quickest production Vette in history. Jalopnik got to go for a ride.
GM announced its first hybrid Corvette that is also the fastest of its kind. The E-Ray, which starts at $104,000, will hit showrooms sometime during the second half of this year as a 2024 model.
Sports car companies have started to bring more electrification into their products as of late. Unlike those who are concerned with EV range figures, the Corvette E-Ray is all about performance.
