The Tadano Group has released the GR-1300XL-4, rough terrain crane for the North American market. It expands Tadano’s rough terrain offering into the 130-US ton (118 metric ton) weight class, equipping even more customers with a versatile machine featuring a long boom concept and compact design. The GR-1300XL-4’s six-section boom can extend up to 183.7 feet (56 meters) using a telescoping pinning system, making it the longest boom of any rough terrain crane in the 130-ton weight class, Tadano said.

The Tadano Group launched the GR-1300XL-4 rough terrain crane for the North American market. The new offering is a part of the 130 ton weight class and consists of a six-section boom with an extended reach of 183.7 feet using a reliable telescoping pinning system.
Tadano GR-1300XL-4 main specifications:
Boom length: 40.0 - 183.7 feet
JIB length: 33.8 feet / 59.1 feet
Maximum lifting for the boom is 182.1 feet and a maximum JIB height of 237.9 feet

Tadano Ltd. announced that current President, CEO, and Representative Director Koichi Tadano will become the new chairman of the board and representative director, effective April 1.
As Koichi Tadano transitions into this new seat, Toshiaki Ujiie will be taking on the responsibilities of president, CEO, and representative director of Tadano, the position Koichi Tadano held for the past 18 years. Ujiie joined the company in April 2019 and holds the current position of executive vice president and representative director.
