To the Shires Community:
In between school years, there is a flurry of musical activity at the Riley Center for the Arts at Burr and Burton Academy.
In June and July, rehearsals, concerts, masterclasses, coachings and individual practice take over the facility in a happy, concentrated burst of musical inquiry and exploration.
We are deeply grateful to our faculty and students for such beautiful playing all summer, and for seeing so many audience members returning to the concert hall in person.
We would like to thank our incredible institutional partner; Burr and Burton Academy for their generous gift of facilities and piano use, and for making the Latz dorm available to house our Chamber Music Intensive students.
