How to watch the NBA All-Star Game, Slam Dunk contest on TNT without cable
The NBA s 2021 midseason showcase is today, and you can stream it live, no cable required.
After an unprecedented 2019-2020 NBA season due to the pandemic, the 2020-2021 season has reached its midpoint with today s All-Star Game. Unlike past years when the festivities ran the whole weekend, the 2021 edition will consolidate all the in-person action to a single Sunday. Televised on TNT, the game will take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta in an effort to be closer to Turner Sports production facilities and limit travel. Fans will not be able to attend in person, though some vaccinated front-line workers will be in the stands. Leading vote-getters LeBron James and Kevin Durant are the captains for the game and full rosters can be found on the NBA s site.
Zion Williamson, the fourth-youngest player to suit up for an All-Star Game, will start in the frontcourt for Team Durant in place of Joel Embiid, who is out due to the league's health and safety protocols.

The Portland Trail Blazers didn’t have the strongest start to NBA All-Star Weekend festivities at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
Participating in the 19th Taco Bell Skills Challenge on Sunday, veteran Blazers forward Robert Covington was among the first players to be eliminated in the competition. The eight-year pro was bested by Orlando Magic big Nikola Vucevic in the first-round of the obstacle-course challenge that tests players’ skills in dribbling, passing, agility and 3-point shooting.
