How to unlock the AUG in Warzone
If you’ve been playing Warzone a while, you probably already have the AUG unlocked. It’s part of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapon collection under Tactical Rifles (don’t accidentally pick the Modern Warfare SMG version!) and is
unlocked at level 28. Whack out your double XP tokens to speed things up if you haven’t got it already.

If you hit all your shots with the AUG, it is a seriously strong weapon. Shredding all your enemy’s armour in one burst and finishing them in a second is super powerful, and often won’t leave the enemy with enough time to do anything about it, especially if you end up hitting headshots with the burst recoil. You can get your bursts off even faster with the AUG than with the M16 too, thanks to the shorter burst delay with the weapon. In this guide, I’ve picked out an attachment combination that’ll work at range, rivalling the likes of the Grau 5.56 and M4A1. I’ve gone for attachments that’ll reduce the recoil magnitude somewhat, as with its fire rate you can struggle to handle the horizontal and vertical recoil combined. Like most Assault Rifles, I’ve whacked on a barrel to help with damage range, as well as the Agency Suppressor which is essential for staying off the radar when firing.
