Kirby teaches Organizational Development and Organizational Behavior at Millikin.
The discussions will be used to gather feedback on projects for each ward along with the city overall.
Julia Frevert, a spokeswoman for the city, said Mayor Jim Langfelder planned to attend all of the ward meetings with the directors of the city departments, including Police Chief Kenny Winslow and Fire Chief Brandon Blough.
Residents are invited to attend any of the forums, Frevert said.
The meeting for Wards 9 and 10, represented by Alds. Jim Donelan and Ralph Hanauer respectively, will be held at the Knights of Columbus, 2200 Meadowbrook Rd., from 5:30 to 7 p.m. June 2.

Millikin University In-Person Graduation Ceremonies set for May 16
Millikin University will celebrate the Class of 2021 with two in-person Commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 16, at Kirkland Fine Arts Center on Millikin’s campus. Undergraduate and graduate students, including doctoral students, will be honored during the ceremonies.
The first Commencement ceremony on May 16 will start at 9:30 a.m. and will recognize graduates from the College of Arts & Sciences, Tabor School of Business and graduates earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA). The morning ceremony will feature student speakers Jada Miller and Collin Krakowiecki. Miller, of St. Louis, Mo., is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, and Krakowiecki, of Hanna City, Ill., is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Millikin University to host 13th Annual Celebrations of Scholarship April 21-23
The outstanding academic work of Millikin University students from the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Fine Arts, Tabor School of Business and College of Professional Studies will be showcased during the University’s 13th annual Celebrations of Scholarship April 21-23, 2021.
During this celebratory event, students from across the University will present the results of their research, scholarship and creative efforts to the Millikin community. Multiple virtual concurrent sessions modeled on a scholarly conference format and organized independently by each department will run across campus.
Celebrations of Scholarship showcases the outstanding work of Millikin students proving that an education focused on engaging students in the theory and practice of their disciplines develops accomplished scholars prepared for graduate and professional study or challenging positions in the workplace.
