Google is building a price tracking tool into Chrome for Android

SmartDroid, the new price tracking feature appears to be a part of Chrome version 90, although only some people report having it. As with many new Google features, it may just come down to luck of the draw (I tested three phones, none of which had the feature).
According to those who have access to the feature (like
9to5Google), the new price tracking feature shows up in Chrome’s tab menu. It lets users monitor open tabs for price changes. When you open the tab menu (available by tapping the number in a square box in the top-right corner of Chrome), you should see a box under your open tabs asking if you want Chrome to notify you about price changes.

California: Chrome’s Android app is being updated with a new interface for switching tabs, and a new tab grouping feature to help organise open web pages, The Verge quoted a report by 9 to 5 Google.
As reported by The Verge, the new interface and functionality has reportedly been appearing for some users after the release of version 88 of Chrome last month but doesn’t appear to be live for everyone just yet.
The grid layout replaces the previous interface consisting of a vertical list of tabs and is similar to Chrome’s existing iOS tab interface.

However, starting today, Google is finally rolling out the layout again to a large number of Android users, and while a lot of us still haven t received it, the feature is slowly making its way to everyone.
