Taaga Tuulima is one of two Hawaii players competing in the Hula Bowl this weekend. He is one of the few Hawaiian players on the roster and he is determined to make his home state and his former team proud. Of course, Tuulima also wants to boost his draft stock as well.
The Athletic handed out grades for Blake Anderson and Andy Avalos, along with other new Group of 5 coaches. Anderson gets a B based on his track record for on the field success as well as developing quarterbacks. However, they need to adapt to the west is a question mark. Avalos got an A- for knowing the program as a former player and coach and defensive continuity.
