KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia opened to a relief rebound on Wednesday following a bounce on Wall Street as traders bet the Federal Reserve will put the brakes on interest rate hikes following the recent fallout in the financial sector.
KUALA LUMPUR (March 6): TA Securities Research has cut Amway (Malaysia) Holdings Bhd’s earnings forecasts by 16.1%, 19.2% and 18%, for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2023 (FY2023), FY2024 and FY2025 respectively, after changing its assumptions on foreign exchange (forex) rates.
KUALA LUMPUR: At the opening bell on Friday, Malaysia's benchmark FBM KLCI was up 2.29 points to 1,457.78, staying firmly below the 100-day simple moving average, which indicated the index remained in a consolidation phase of trading.
