नई दिल्ली: भारत में कोरोना के चलते बीसीसीआई (BCCI) को काफी नुकसान हुआ है. पहले आईपीएल 2021 (IPL 2021) को बीच में ही रद्द करना पड़ा और अब टी20 वर्ल्ड कप (T20 World Cup) जो भारत में खेला जाना था यूएई में होगा. एक ओर जहां आईपीएल अक्टूबर में खत्म होगा वहीं टी20 विश्व कप उसके तुरंत बाद शुरू हो�
New Delhi: The T20 World Cup 2021 is expected to begin in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on October 17. The final match of the tournament will be played on November 14. In the next meeting, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will apprise the International Cricket Council (ICC) of its decision to shift the 16-country tournament to UAE. Three places in UAE- T20 World Cup matches will be played in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai. Oman will host the qualifiers.
Due to corona in India, IPL 2021 had to be stopped midway. The second phase of the tournament will now be played from September 17 to October 15. Two days later, the T20 World Cup will begin. BCCI wanted to host the T20 World Cup in India, but two issues came in the way. It is learnt that they did not get any tax concession from the Government of India. At the same time, BCCI is concerned about how eager the international players will be to come to India after the IPL is suspended due to corona cases in the bio-bubble.
